THE Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) sat down with its partner-institutions in Iloilo City to formulate a comprehensive communication and advocacy plan for the Farmers’ Contact Center’s (FCC) electronic Extension or e-Extension Program.

Director Asterio P. Saliot of ATI, which is the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture, said the plan was conceived to come up with strategies to make more fisherfolks and other stakeholders become aware and use the services of the center.

The center is the alternative delivery channel for farm and business advisory services which caters to voice calls and text messages, aside from e-mails and other online communication such as instant messaging and online forum.
