THE uncertain fate of Iloilo City legal officer Jose Junio Jacela is boggling the City Budget Office (CBO).
Ninda Atinado, CBO chief, expressed her quandary in a letter to the Sangguniang Panlungsod asking for the status of Jacela.
The letter was read during the regular session of the City council Tuesday afternoon.
Atinado said she wants to know Jacela’s situation so they can decide on his salary and other benefits.
Jacela’s appointment remains in the doldrums after Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog withdrew his nomination papers from the council last month.
